It’s been a while since I’ve posted some material from Zom-Bee TV, and I thought it was about time! Zom-Bee TV was something I was involved in around 2013 where we attempted to launch an internet television channel, but unfortunately it didn’t work out. We have lots of material from those days and I might as well post it!
“Let Sleeping Corpses Lie” (also known as The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue, Don’t Open the Window, and several other titles) is a 1974 Spanish-Italian horror film directed by Jorge Grau.
Synopsis:
Set in the English countryside, the story follows George, an antiques dealer, who travels to the Lake District and ends up carpooling with Edna, a woman on her way to visit her sister. Their journey is disrupted when they encounter a bizarre string of events: local farmers are using a new ultrasonic machine to kill pests, but it’s having unintended consequences — it’s reanimating the dead.
As mysterious murders start to occur and the dead rise from their graves, George and Edna become the prime suspects in the eyes of a gruff, skeptical police inspector. Racing against time and disbelief, the pair must uncover the truth behind the reanimation and survive the undead threat before it spreads further.
